August School Holiday Fun @ Queensbay Mall Penang

In conjunction with the August school holiday, MRC Relau had organized some fun activities at Queensbay Mall (with the joint sponsorship of Q-Kids club) from 24-26 August 2009. The activities include Puppet Craft Workshop, Merdeka Coloring Contest and Clown Craft Workshop.

The kids had a great time-surrounded by great activities... We were delighted!

2009年MRC国际嘉年华‧光明指定宣传报章

（檳城）SMM精忆图教育集团，將於9月12日及13日在云顶高原举办“2009年MRC国际嘉年华”盛会，这场活动预料吸引超过3000名亲子参与，《光明日报》为大会唯一中文宣传报章。

SMM精忆图教育集团董事经理吴慧芹连同此集团执行主席林得丁、董事陈甡贤及北马各区院长蒞临《光明日报》交流，並为这项精诚合作签署意向书，由吴慧芹与《光明日报》高级业务促进经理郑永明代表签署，並由《星洲日报》檳吉坡霹区高级经理潘友平、《光明日报》高级广告经理谢进鏵及副广告经理洪葆芩见证。

SMM精忆图教育集团第7年度在云顶云星剧场举办“2009年MRC国际嘉年华”。有別於往年的是，今年特別安排適合亲子的活动，让家长及孩子有机会参与各项精彩活动。

办晚宴讲座
主办当局也安排亲子讲座会，让3Q的家长及孩子一同学习，有趣及丰富內容的讲座会肯定让您收获良多。

9技能挑战赛也是其中一项让家长及孩子一同参与的活动。

主办当局也为全国各地的3Q导师举办一场晚宴，让家长与导师有个交流的管道，为孩子提供更有水准的教育，也让家长更瞭解3Q。

主办单位今年获得云顶当局盛意免费提供云星剧场作为比赛场地，因此欢迎各界家长踊跃索票带孩子参与。

Dear parents,
Please be informed that 2010 intake for MRC Kids Programme (ages 3-6) is open for registration now!

About MRC Kids Programme:-

Aims:

• To elevate the intelligence quotient(IQ), emotional quotient(EQ), and creativity quotient(CQ)
• To lay a strong foundation for the languages and be able to read up to 1,000 Chinese/English/Bahasa Malaysia words
• To stimulate and enhance the potential of the right brain, to enhance concentration, observation,imagination and memory skill
• To cultivate reading interest
• To establish fun-filled and enriched learning

Subjects (Study group - 5 days per week, 1 day 3 hours):

• 3Q Chinese
• 3Q English
• 3Q Bahasa Malaysia
• Kids Mental Arithmetic
• Flash Card
• Creative Drama Training

Please read to me, mummy, daddy!

What: Parent read aloud to their children for 10 minutes daily.
When: Everyday, usually at bedtime.
Where: In a comfortable quiet place.

Why:
- To develop a love for reading.
- To improve the children's language abilities.
- To increase family harmony.

How:
- Parents start reading daily to each child from the age of 18 months - Let the child comment, question or discuss the story or related topics.
- Important note: this is not teaching the child to read.

Results: Children who are read aloud everyday behave better and more successful in school

计划:父母亲每天对自己的子女朗读10分钟
时间：每天晚上临睡前
地点：舒适幽静的地方
目的：
- 培养儿童对阅读的热爱。
- 提高他们的语文能力。
- 增进家庭的融洽。

程序：
- 在子女满十八个月后，父母亲即开始每天对他们朗读。
- 让孩子对故事或相关的课题提出意见和问题，或进行讨论。

注：这并非教导孩子阅读的计划。

效果：每天聆听朗读的儿童在品行上显得更为优良，并且在学校课业和活动上表现得更为出色。
